This off-season there are many big decisions that GM Dave Gettleman of the New York Giants will have to make. One of his first decisions will be whether or not to draft a WR in Round 1 of the NFL draft such as Alabama's young WR Jaylen Waddle. Waddle is a perfect fit for the Giant's offense as they are in need of a down-field threat at the wide receiver position. Waddle is a tough call though after suffering an injury sidelining him for most of Alabama's past season.
Another tough decision is whether or not to sign star DT Leonard Williams to a max deal. Williams will most likely look to sign with another team if he does not receive a max offer from the Giants or if the Giants do not tag him. If they bring Williams back, they will be short on cap space and will only have enough money for one or two more top-tier players. Some players the Giants may consider are Panthers WR Curtis Samuel, Lions WR Kenny Golladay, or Ravens LB/EDGE Yannick Ngaukue. All three of these star players would be a great fit, but they would not be able to keep both DT Dalvin Tomlinson and Williams if they sign any of these players. The big question is what is the best fit to get back to the promised land, and the answer is, we will have to see.
